As CrossFitters, our goal is to become very good at a variety of tasks, rather than an expert at just one. The phrase “A jack of all trades, master of none” is quite appropriate. One of those “tasks” is gymnastics. However, in terms of scope and difficulty of movements, CrossFitters as a whole do what could more accurately be described as ‘body control’ rather than what most people think of as the sport of gymnastics. It is with that lead in that I can now say that we are going to be practicing body control stuff today. If you want to get better at anything where you are manipulating your own body, then you better make it here for these days!
