Stories From the Box…5/19/14

Couple of quick reminders:
1) This upcoming Saturday, May 24th we will be joining in with the local CrossFit community to help raise money for a coach at a sister gym – CrossFit BNI. One of their head coaches, Beth, is fighting brain cancer and have put together a WOD in her honor. We will be performing the WOD at our home gym (CFG), and it will take the place of the 9am/10am WODs that we normally host.
If you’d like to participate, there will be a $20 buy-in that will be donated directly to them. So, if you normally come to the Saturday sessions, this one will be especially memorable. Invite as many people as you can!!
2) Monday May 26th is Memorial Day. Many of you know what that means – we will be doing “Murph.” There will be only ONE class on that day – 9am.
3) Next, many of you saw some filming going on this past weekend. We had a bunch of members decide that they wanted to do a video testimonial to talk about how CFG has improved their life. Check out this teaser video and stay tuned for when we release the full slate!
