Two weeks ago, we had a handful of people participate in the 2015 CrossFit Liftoff. It was an online event that CrossFit HQ put together and consisted of three scored events:
- 1RM Snatch
- 1RM Clean and Jerk
- 12min AMRAP of snatches, clean and jerks, pull-ups, and double unders
The cool thing about events like this is that they result in better than expected performances. Call it whatever you like, but its hard to deny the impact that high energy environments have on peoples ability to perform.
Having said all that, here are some videos of people’s PR lifts that they hit!

And while we didn’t get everyones lifts on video (mine included), I know that we also had a few people match a current PR – which is STILL a big deal!!
Lastly, the two lifts that Jay hit above, combined with his 1st place WOD score, were enough to put him in 1st Place Overall in his age/weight division. WAY TO GO JAY!!
